RedVolt Drive

Workhorse SCR DC Drive

The RedVolt Drive is Ameronics' flagship open-chassis SCR DC motor controller — engineered in the USA for continuous heavy-duty operation. Built around proven phase-controlled rectification, it delivers smooth speed regulation across the full 0–100 / 0–200 VDC armature range and supports both armature and tachometer feedback for tight, repeatable performance. Adjustable IR compensation, an integrated field supply for shunt-wound motors, isolated signal inputs, and diagnostic LEDs make installation, tuning, and service straightforward. The RedVolt is the controller our customers come back to — decade after decade — for conveyors, mixers, extruders, machine tools, and pump and fan drives.
